Melanie Newell joins the Rocket team with over a decade of experience in developing social impact partnerships and cause marketing initiatives for national nonprofits and corporate brands. Her diverse background includes developing fundraising and partnerships strategies for organizations such as the National Park Foundation, March of Dimes, Make-A-Wish America, Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Airlines, Finish Line Youth Foundation, Cedars-Sinai, CARE USA, American Heart Association, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Ronald McDonald House Charities and more. In addition, Melanie has worked most recently as Chief of Staff for social impact data and technology platform Accelerist, supporting companies and causes, as well as in various account management roles in the sports and entertainment industries, overseeing charitable programs and campaigns for a number of high-profile foundations.
Melanie is passionate about mobilizing audiences around social impact and truly does believe that strong partnerships can change the world. A lover of travel, new restaurants, movies, cooking and meeting new people, Melanie resides in Kansas City with her husband and one-year-old daughter.
