Visible Wireless came to Rocket with a mission to refresh its social impact strategy and reimagine a program direction that would resonate with employees and customers.
Rocket rooted the strategy in Visible’s strong values of simplicity, accessibility, and inclusivity. With a strong understanding of the impact Visible wants to make in the world, we conducted research into the issues that resonated with their measures of success, including qualitative and quantitative analyses of employees’ interests and beliefs. Our data-informed approach revealed issue area opportunities that we tied to Visible’s core values and authentic intervention strategy.
Results
Rocket recognized that the heart of what Visible Wireless specializes in is connection, so we developed Visible Impacts, a strategy at the intersection of connectivity and equitable access to society’s most basic needs. We advised Visible on specific sub-issues where wireless technology can have the greatest and most immediate impact: connections to food assistance, workforce development support, and community-building. Within these focus areas, Rocket matched Visible to nonprofit partners targeting technology as a solution. By focusing on powering connection to basic needs, Visible is making a measurable impact on the ground today with ambitious growth strategies to connect more people to the resources they need in the future.
