Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger engaged Rocket to develop a multi-year national consumer campaign to support RAH’s mission to to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies.​



Focus Brands partnered with Rocket to craft an inclusive social impact strategy that leveraged Focus Brands’ superpowers, resonated with their audiences, and provided direction for their brands to ladder up. 



Rocket developed the It Starts With A Meal campaign, a national, multi-channel campaign focused on encouraging individuals and corporations to take action and join the movement to end global hunger. Rocket’s approach included two core components: creating a signature social influencer campaign and developing Rise Against Hunger’s first-ever signature livestream event. The influencer campaign featured diverse food and lifestyle Instagram influencers who shared globally inspired recipe content and encouraged their audiences to take action in support of the global hunger crisis. The livestream, the Chef Showdown, coincided with World Food Day and amplified the influencer activation with involvement from three competing celebrity chefs and the organization’s largest ever media partnership.


We are proud to say that through It Starts With A Meal, Rocket was able to:
• Double Rise Against Hunger’s revenue and media impressions from the previous year’s World Food Day
• Secure 6 new corporate funders for 2022
• Confirm the organization’s largest-ever media partnership
• Successfully developm and execute the first digital World Food Day livestreamed Chef Showdown event, including participation from 3 competing celebrity chefs and driving incremental partner revenue
