The Rocket team identified social areas in most need of logistical expertise and support, directing where LaserShip could have the most impact in its communities. These areas included organ donation & delivery, disaster response and food insecurity. Rocket developed the LaserShip Time of Need social impact program to focus the company’s philanthropic, employee volunteerism, and in-kind support.
Following the establishment of this program, LaserShip was able to establish a relationship with Workplace Partnership for Life to raise awareness for organ donations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, LaserShip worked with Inova Hospital Systems in Northern Virginia to transport and redistribute critical medical supplies to various medical centers. Additionally, LaserShip joined the Food for Others program to deliver meals and food supplies to at-risk families throughout Northern Virginia.
