As the pandemic set in and schools adjusted, there was an increase among companies in learning about the widening educational equity gap in our country. Rocket partnered with DonorsChoose to develop and implement a strategy to raise awareness of the equity gap, grow current partners and increase the pipeline of prospective corporate partners.



Rocket developed a unique digital event to discuss educational inequities highlighted by COVID-19. Rocket worked with the DonorsChoose team to outline the topics, content and run of show as well as the promotion and prospecting strategy to ensure we could use the event to attract new industries and new companies to DonorsChoose.


The event secured nearly 60 attendees, including 13 companies new to the DonorsChoose mission and eager to learn about the organization’s point of view on the evolving education landscape. DonorChoose is in discussion with many of them on possible collaboration opportunities.
