Strategy
To accomplish this goal, Rocket revised BCF’s messaging to better highlight its efforts around innovation and ingenuity. Rocket then developed a thought leadership strategy for BCF’s President to better reach stakeholders in the community, industry and the education space. As part of the strategy, we created a branded content platform, The Educator Series, in which BCF President Kathleen Owsley interviews grantees, while closely coordinating with non-profit grantees to promote local grant announcements.
Results
Through these efforts, Rocket generated ongoing content highlighting key grantees through blogs, video, media coverage and social media, and Kat Owsley was featured in Crain’s Notable Women in STEM 2019. The increased awareness also supported the expansion of partnerships with the University of Michigan and Ford Foundation.
